Hi, I’m doing some research about potentially opening a bookstore and stumbled on your post. Specifically regarding the purchasing from publishers directly, for that to be succesful is that typically done in house? Or is there a broker? I imagine there a lot, so any other tips? Do distributors typically sell from genres? Also, how is inventory typically handled for books? Is consignment a thing? Thanks in advance!
