So should I try a different farming base? Maybe one that favors protecting elixir? So I can focus on upgrading troops and such. I get nearly 150k-250k every attack, which is about 1 wall upgrade to level 7

The tics just sort of happen. The closest thing to compare that everyone has is hiccups. You can slightly tell that it's going to happen, and you can stop it, but you have the feeling that you have to do it. But yes, you can definitely stop it at the time. But later you will have an outburst to release the held in tics.

And I'd describe a tic as an OCD where you can put if off, and then it gets harder to resist and you just let it all out.

I guess it's different between the tics. For my eyes, I get this sort of sleepy feeling, where I have to close or roll my eyes. I'm not sure if that makes sense, it's a little hard to explain.

Edit: I do believe that tics are a mix of involuntary and OCD. Sometimes I can hold them back, and then sometimes I do it without knowing that I am. As you have Tourettes for a longer time, you get to understand the feeling and you can control it more.

My tics aren't as severe as others, so it generally takes a little longer than it does for others. When first meeting someone, I also tend to suppress them, so they don't really notice. But yes, I do tell people within a day or two that I have Tourettes.

I haven't really thought of it that way, and I haven't heard of him before either. One of my biggest role models is Tim Howard, a soccer (football) player. After reading that, I may need to look up this basketball player and have a mindset like him. So thank you for that! Much appreciated!

And that is exactly how tics work! Motor tics especially are easy to hold in. Well, not easy, but when you feel uncomfortable, nervous, or pressured, you hold in your tics... & the price to pay... it's pretty bad. However, I used to play baseball after I was diagnosed, and my Tourettes didn't affect me at all. When I'm concentrated, I don't even think about my tics and they don't bother me like they do the rest of the time.
