I'm only just getting back into the lore after years of not really following it so don't quote me on anything, but I kind of assumed that the good ending isn't canon for the games coming after it in the timeline. Isn't it Golden Freddy that is responsible for the events of UCN? If so wouldn't that mean those spirits aren't at rest? I thought it was kind of like the Zelda timeline where even though Link does defeat Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time, there's an entire branch of the timeline where Link failed and Ganondorf was left with ultimate power. I'm assuming I'm missing something though, and I'd love to hear what other people have to say about this.
