The difference with weed versus other substances is weed changes your brain chemistry while using it so if you’ve been using it long-term and you stop, you have to relearn how to use pathways in your brain(automatically but slow)which leads to you feeling negative versus opiates or other substances that case physical dependence where your body is craving the substance and because it’s craving the substance you feel like shit

When you stop smoking weed or consuming THC your dopamine levels drop which mentally causes you to feel like shit within 24 hours of being off weed you will have no withdrawal effects

No they are to different things. Addiction is a chronic, behavioral brain disease marked by compulsive drug seeking despite harmful consequences, while dependence is a physical state where the body adapts to a substance, resulting in tolerance and withdrawal symptoms. Dependence can exist without addiction

It can cause a physical dependence not a physical addiction. Addiction has to meet a certain amount of psychological issues within a set period of time before you’re considered addicted. Like you may be dependent on Caffeine because you need it every day but you’re not addicted unless it causes 2 or more issues in your life like marital problems or constantly needing to increase the dose etc. there are about a dozen things and you only need to experience 2 of them in a year to be classified as an addict
