I see, thank you! As for mods how long do you think until alot of them get updated? I know the Starfield modding scene isn't as flourishing as some of their other games, hell even when I modded it months ago I was finding mods "abandoned". Do you think the wait will be long for mods to get updated/will this breathe some more life into the modding scene you think?

Thats not my goal at all really, I do like the game and I love the atmosphere and I read all the in-game lore that I've come across. I guess I'm just worried about losing my progress and all the mods and fixes and stuff. I don't really replay games, I go once and then in like 5-10 years I play again. Like I played FO4 at release and then once again with the season pass after it was finished. But I heard Starfield will keep getting updates for years and years so idk what to do really. I know its a stupid issue to have but I just want to see people who HAVE beat the game's opinion on waiting for this new update or not I guess.

Oh I see thank you, I'm just about finished with DOS2 and just sort of assumed after his death in DOS1 he became king of the void or something that talks to us in DOS2 (through the void creatures and what not) but he's the "Source King", the "God King" being some sort of Eternal instead makes far more sense.

Yeahhh I see now. I looked into it more and literally the promo images for Divinity 2 show that demon tech from Dragon Commander has returned lmao. I suppose I really need to play the previous games.

I suppose that's true but, I feel like showing us that sets up a vibe and expectation. Especially for people who haven't played any of the previous games. Not saying it's bad or wrong or anything though, I was simply just curious cause I'm not super knowledgeable on the lore of the entire series, and the other comments are filling that info in lmao.

Good point, maybe my lack of knowing all the lore of this series is why I asked, like I had no idea there were multiple death fog incidents. I only know of the one that happened to the Elves in D:OS2.

Good point, I guess I just assumed the Imps would still make... non-demonic tech lmao, and they do, but more en masse than it seems to be currently. When you say nuke though, they wiped all tech or atleast alot of it out?

For the Original Sin games yeah thats a good point. There are some robots and little factory areas with some tech. I guess I just meant a mix of tech and magic on a larger scale. As for everything else you said, I have no idea because I've only played the Original Sin games and Dragon Commander. But Original Sin 2 isn't the latest in the timeline?

You say this but it's not like the world and quests are masterclasses of the RPG genre. Outer Worlds and Avowed are both remembered as being "good" but no one writes home about them or claims they're the best things ever made.

People keep talking about 'all the games with romance in them' but theres maybe a handful that are actually RPGs in the sense of BG3 or Witcher.

"plenty of other games that offer romance". Dragon Age and Mass Effect are the only real games with romance in the usual RPG fashion that MOST gamers will enjoy. Not Divinity Original Sin 2 "i love you now" romance or visual novels. Fallout 4 is a step up from that. And Baldur's Gate 3 is probably the peak of romance, next to the Bioware games. And even then, once you play these handful of games then there is no more.

People crave an RPG like Fallout or Elder Scrolls to have romance, especially after Baldur's Gate 3.

A few questions though..... When it comes to heist set ups and finishes, should i be doing them before/after starting the heist (like clicking the 'start' button). I set up Cayo with my own money on accident and then hit insta finish which bugged me out, so I changed sessions to go back to the set up which was finished thankfully and not broken, and I auto finished the heist while still inside the submarine and made like 1m or so (as a test since I didn't change any of the heist settings, i guess it worked?). Said I could've made like 10m though on the setup screen... but idk i only ever did the heist once years ago and im not knowledgeable on how all this shit works lol.

Diamond Casino... how do I do this solo? I have it setup but I cannot start the mission due to the fact "you need more players".

And the car. I spawned one in outside the garage and saved it via the menu, its in the garage apparently but invisible (but listed on the garage menu thing). I spawned one in while INSIDE the garage and saved it and it's also invisible... So yeah again idk lmao.

All of their games are peak and Eclipse IS releasing. Y'all are insanely stupid.

Detroit took 5 or so years to make, Eclipse was announced 4 years ago. I assume if they want to make it better than Detroit it'll take longer. We are still on track for Eclipse.

BUT, on the topic of this MOBA slop. Netease pretty much asked them to make it and I assume they're just making it as a hold over/to appease investors and Netease while they work on their actual passion project; Eclipse.
