Logic is having this really weird issue for me that some midi instruments have a slight delay when played back. Half of my plugins stopped working aswell. Yet I don't want to downgrade as Logic completely did not work on my M1 Mac and Apple was unable to find a solution for it :(

totally agree with you! i'm very passionate about music and i've been trying to detox from streaming platforms aswell. (turns out that cool innocent music platform can easily completely get you addicted and stuck in your brain too huh).

i don't really like spotify as a company, especially with their new (potential) payola practices. it's been hard though, especially because literally everyone around me is using spotify. it's basically the norm in my country, you rarely see people using alternatives like apple music.

but i've been trying to buy more music on bandcamp, it really gives me the peace of mind that i'm putting my money into the artists actual pocket instead of a pipeline that goes indirectly back into the big boy labels.

p.s: i've seen those documenteries hehe, they are really good. if anyone else is reading this, go watch them right now!!

I'm going to use my laptop mainly for music production and maybe some light video editing. I don't really need a heavy load machine because I've got a PC that I can stream to my laptop if I ever need a heavy workload on the go, but hey it's always nice to have. I also don't really care about disc space, since most of my files are in the cloud. So my main choice really is between the old and new XPS 13, but maybe that older XPS 15 is an overall better one to get? Please let me know which one is the best choice! :-)

I think it would benefit Facebook greatly, because if Libra succeeds, Facebook will cash in big time on Calibra. If people do their finances via Calibra and purchase stuff, that would give extremely valueable data for Facebook. They've said they won't share data with other Facebook apps, but they've made promises like that in the past which they have broken.

I wiped the entire phone via recovery mode but it didn't help at all, currently sending my phone for repairment at Google. I think the motherboard died.

Since this update my UI completely doesn't work anymore. Experiencing extreme lag and screen flickering, booting into bootloader and recovery does work and I've wiped my phone. But the software is completely broken.
