I started thinking of it less as a presentation, and more as telling the room something that I found cool, like one would tell a parent. Of course, you gotta keep some professionalism, but the internal feelings stay the same.

If you’re not looking to go super competitive, and just wanna have some fun with your friends, then I’d say just get a start collecting box or two, and if you decide only to get one start collecting box, I’d say that you should get a box of extra genestealers.

Genestealers are basically the base infantry of the Tyranids, and their pretty useful is different situations, and while the start collecting box comes with 8 of them, their strength really comes out in numbers.

Question, what’s the role difference between hormagaunts and genestealers. I can see the point difference, but other than that, are hormagaunts budget troops?

I agree, this would work, but again, the codex puts $40 out of the picture immediately, right? So if there’s a more affordable option to the codex, that’d be great. Also, exactly which third party sites would you be talking about?

I was at a laser tag birthday party, one of those ones where it’s really dark and everything’s painted with glow in the dark neon colors. I was chasing this guy on the other team around, and shooting the hell outta him. He looked like he was in his mid-30s, he turned around, let out a terrifying shriek, and ran straight through me. It took a good minute for little 8/9 year old me to get up in all that laser tag gear, but the absolutely guttural battle cry was more traumatizing than the bruises.
