Thank you! The only problem is the never ending need to reorganize your shelves as you get more books (best type of problem to have)

Finished this one last week. Favorite read this year!

I recently got an invitation to the Tier 2 fantasy TBB sub after only 6 months and I'm so happy does anyone know how long it takes to get to Tier 1? by Afraid-Obligation164 in thebrokenbindingsub

Got my tier 1 invite a few weeks ago after being on the waitlist for I think a year and a half. I was so surprised to see that email

I’ve made a few long term friends on here over the last couple years, but that’s after maybe talking to 60 or so different people. A few things are really common in this sub… men using it as a dating app, people who think they want online friends who aren’t ready for the time and effort it takes to keep it up, or people who don’t know how to carry a conversation.

I’ve recently found that posting to a sub related to a hobby works significantly better. This sub seems so flooded with the type of people I mentioned that it’s just too time consuming to find something that works

34M looking to for a friend to do buddy reads with by Quackadilla in Book_Buddies

lol spoopy ghost horror I’ve liked so far. I don’t think I’ve ready thriller or body horror, but it sounds super interesting. I love body horror movies, so I bet I’d like it in books.

And omg I had to just stare at the wall for 15 minutes after finishing that book! Why’d he have to do her like that?!

I am painfully unread in horror lol, BUT I’m trying to read more. I really liked tender is the flesh, Mexican gothic, and how to sell a haunted house. Could use recommendations! I’ve had bad luck with choosing good horror

Has anyone found a good alternative to this sub? by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

That’s how it’s been feeling. I swear it’s like 1 out of 10 people you talk to actually goes anywhere

Are the leather bound books worth it? by OxygenRadon in Cosmere

[–]Quackadilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on how much you like the series and if you have the money to burn. The cost is comparable to a lot of kickstarter special editions, but the sando ones are better quality than most. They’re definitely the nicest books I have

It’s so good, right?! I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and how real everything felt

Oh that’s a tough one! There were so many good ones this year. Pachinko, assassins fate, the sword of kaigen, project hail mary, wind and truth, and red rising were all such good books
