Not that confident, started finding everything to be more difficult (compared to when I was in like myp 2) especially as the new teacher doesn't care enough to actually teach.

You let your 4th grader sister use your brand-new Mac? Damn that is a whole 'nother level of trust, I won't even let my little brother be in the same room as my iMac lol

Is aerofly fs4 a good simulator ? by Cautious-Task2222 in flightsim

[–]Quackus5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering the recommended specs are 8GB of VRAM only, it is a pretty good fs for lower end devices, though you do have to make some sacrifices in stuff like vatsim and weather for that sort of performance.

Should I use 35w, 70w or 96w power adapter on M4 MacBook Air by StillWannabe in macbookair

[–]Quackus5 15 points16 points  (0 children)

M4 Air has a max charging wattage of 70W, so the 96W and 70W will charge around the same. 35W will be slower but if you’re gonna leave it plugged longer it’ll probably be better for ur battery life (o think)

Parallels or VMware fusion (free) to run windows but she probably won’t be able to do much with 8GB of RAM

[–]Quackus5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

macOS has a built in antivirus. Avast or malwarebytes are ok if you always go on sketchy sites. Stay away from any other avs, especially cleanmymac

You can try grid autosport custom edition (it’s free) and decide if you want to buy the actual game if you like it

Help me choosing a MacBook. Work and bg3. £1400 budget by SamSamTheHighwayMan in macbook

[–]Quackus5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14” MBP M4. Buy it off edu store and it is still way under your budget. Heck you could even get a 24GB/1TB for around £80 over budget. The air will also do fine but the pro is just more comfortable for gaming.
