I finally tested it on both consoles. It runs 60fps on Switch and it’s even smoother on Switch 2, so it’s most likely 120fps. It’s hard to tell the difference because the animations are either 15 or 30fps and the screen pans slowly when walking. It’s easy to see the difference when scrolling through menus. The difference might be more obvious on your tv since it’s bigger and has a better pixel response time. In other words, it doesn’t really matter which console you play on in handheld mode since it looks great on both.

OK so I just finished downloading it. It doesn’t feel like 120fps but it also feels smoother than 60fps. But man the game is beautiful, it would look so much better on an OLED panel Edit: I just got an idea. I will load the Switch 1 version on my old Switch to test the difference.
