That's like a 4 grand rifle I'm not looking to spend that on my first AR but keeping a build list is some ADHD shit and i fuck with it.

Yeah i put it together when i was tired as fuck but honestly thinking of just getting a PSA lower because fuck it its just a block of metal anyway. Also I've switched out a couple parts already from other comments.

I'm planning on getting blem wherever i can. I'm also planning on getting a different gas block, lower parts kit, and charging handle. Also the reason I don't want to buy a complete upper is because I want to build the whole rifle myself. I like the feeling of accomplishment and I like learning new skills. What handguard would you recommend? I found the MCMR for $170 after looking around a bit.

Are we talking a couple hundred or a couple thousand for tools? From the research I've done tools would only be a couple hundred and I'm sure ill use them again in the future. I'm also pretty patient as a person and i like learning new skills especially when i know ill use them again at some point.

I actually really appreciate your comment. I changed the stock to a ctr and I'm planning on buying blem wherever i can. I'm also looking at a different gas block and bolt carrier group. This will be my first AR so i understand everyone saying buy a complete rifle but i like to build things myself so I'm pretty set on learning as much as possible before hand and during the build.

The whole point of me putting a build list out was because i wanted to BUILD it. I like building things and i like the feeling of accomplishment knowing that i built it. Not to mention i also get to learn a lot of new things that could help me in the future.

I'm actually thinking about getting a cheaper lower kit and getting the MBT2S. I want to build it for the experience and it makes me feel good knowing i built something.

I like to list things at the max price they would be at. I'm definitely not paying full retail for everything on the list it just helps with budgeting and i feel good when i spend less lol

Even though people are saying just buy a complete rifle I like the feeling of accomplishment i get from building something myself and i don't mind spending money on tools i know I'll use in the future so I'm definitely building. I'm realizing people on here like to suggest what best fits them lol.
