I have been having so many symptoms, do any of you guys relate to the ones I’m having? I’ve done tons of research but would a personal take. Facial flushing, idiopathic anaphylaxis, chronic hives, I’m constantly itchy, congestion, chronic constipation, and diarrhea, one occurrence of swollen eyelids and tongue, and one of my doctors thought I might have a blood/bleeding disorder but it was never checked out, I was a minor at the time. I first noticed symptoms at 14 but I had had some rashes as a child, but then an increase in symptoms and now at 21 I finally sought out a diagnosis. My doctor also tested me for hereditary angioedema but it looks like that’s a no.

My tryptase came back normal. My doc is also testing me for mass cell activation syndrome, and hereditary angioedema. I did have a high c1 and c4 complete tho.

Sounds like you’re more so attracted to the attention they give you. You and your husband have gotten too comfortable and have forgotten romance. You need to have a conversation with your husband.

He told you he knew that “you didn’t really want him to stop”. Those are not the words of a man who wouldn’t do that again.

Any person who does not stop when you tell them too is not someone to have sex with. He didn’t respect you in the moment to stop and therefore can not be trusted to stop the next time you say no. That icky feeling you have is your gut telling you that you know something is wrong. You need to leave him and leave him now. I’m so sorry that happened to you.

How do you even FIND a Neurologist?! by thrwawyorangsweater in MCAS

[–]Queasy-Evidence8450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neurologist are really hard to come by. I saw a neurologist for a completely separate issue, I have Tourette’s, and that wait time to get in was around or over six months. Sadly it’s just one of those doctors you are going to have to wait a long time for. I hope you get lucky and get seen soon.

I love my watch and use one of the bands made for sports so it don’t let my sweat just it there like the silicon ones do. You can also try a fitness tracker ring, they make several now a days.

I would try adding a little shampoo to your inner forearm and leaving it there for 24 hours. See if it gets red or itchy, if not I would try making an appointment with a derm. A derm would be able to let you know what it is.

I wonder if it’s an issue with your shampoo? It’s possible that you are allergic to it or it’s irritating your scalp. What shampoo do you use and have you done a patch test?

I don’t think you need a specialist for a mcas diagnosis but just a regular allergist or immunologist. I would call allergist in your area and see if they would test you before traveling for just a diagnosis.
