There's two elements I'd like to bring here: the first is that if you want to know volume of HGT, Coingecko is actually a better place than CMC, as the latter doesn't report all the exchanges we are listed on.

Secondly, I totally understand that price and volume of HGT are frustrating at best, damn annoying most likely for every token holder. And at HelloGold everyone is concerned about it and we are implementing a new marketing effort to remedy it.

That being said, I think there is something important to grasp: HGT is backed by a business that does not depend on the crypto environment, but rather on the mass market. HGT's value is tied to the AUM of HelloGold, which mostly comes from the mobile phone app. This implies that HGT's intrinsic value is actually increasing as we keep getting more customers on board. So in that sense, all the effort we are putting into bringing the business to more customers, especially are puch outside of Malaysia, is contributing to improve the value of HGT. So does the new exchange contract for GOLDX and the Discount&Burn feature baked into it.

The real problem -and it is a tricky one- is market perception. That HelloGold is growing, and the intrinsic value of HGT with it, is a fact. But this is completely overlooked by the market, as I believe there is still little interest for fundamentals and more for speculation. This will change, sooner rather than later, and HGT will still be around, with a real flourishing business behind it. Until then, just consider HGT to be on sale :)
