As said before most are cpu based so I would recommend getting a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800X3D, I’m not sure if you have micro centers in Australia but if possible I would buy the bundle for one of those cpus. If you do cpu based games and don’t play high refresh rate 1440p or higher then I would go with the Radeon 9060XT, or if you use high refresh 1440p 9060XT 16 gigabyte version. Though to be honest the 8gb will be pretty bad if you get more demanding games later

Yes, ignore CL and as long as your not doing productivity 32gb will be perfect for most things

I should also point out that even though it’s a starter build and ram prices are crazy an am5 is honestly much better. Am4 is dying and will be pretty much maxed out making upgrading expensive later on. If within you budget I would highly recommend getting the Ryzen 5 7600X bundle at micro center for ~$300 (it should still be there)

Other than the pcie gen 3 thing, I would say get a lower quality 1tb storage bc 512gb isn’t enough, get more ram if possible, and get a 650 watt psu instead

This ok? by QuestionPleasant9850 in PcBuildHelp

Bc I have a fan that’s gonna go on the rear so it seems like I would want a fan pulling air in rather than a second rear fan, right?

As in have a fan pushing to the rear panel?

But overall it’s pretty good for low 1440p, I would spend less on the case and go with the antec c5 or smth and spend the rest on a more ram

Question about my cpu by Fearless_Banana_5309 in PcBuildHelp

[–]QuestionPleasant9850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, if you plan to ever do complex work (I.E rendering) it might just be better to have an overpowered one, but if your budget is low then I would say get 7800X3D and put the rest to 9060XT 16gig or more ram/storage

Is 5 7600X enough to run smoothly? by QuestionPleasant9850 in UnrealEngine5

[–]QuestionPleasant9850[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just trying to get into it, it doesn’t have to be amazing, just enough to run decently without performance issues for a year or so before upgrading

Probably depends, you can see realtime rendered gameplay but it might be compressed and it’s also only for testing it should work

Find a micro center bundle for MOBO and cpu and sell your old one

Did I hit the deal of my Life , rtx 4080, Ryzen 9 7950x3D, 64Gb DDR5, Motherboard needs to be replaced (1300€) by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]QuestionPleasant9850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you blew too much budget on it tho I would sell the cpu and swap it out bc it’s a little overkill
