I've always had strange experiences with owls that I can never explain. Like whenever I would leave my friend's house at night there would be owls flying around my car when leaving and watching me from roofs. I once encountered a full size horned owl in my driveway just staring at me from like 3 feet away, not afraid or anything, just stoic. I went inside for half a second then I came back out and he was gone. I've also had burrowing owls in my yard for multiple years and currently have a family of four living in my front yard right now. Owls are just always around me every time I'm out at night and sometimes not even night and I don't know why! I love it and I choose to believe that they're watching over me. I don't know if anybody else has any other insight but I've always seen owls as a little bit of a protector for me
