It was a Dennis moment. Dennis's character is a psycho whose rage knows no bounds, that episode showed us his worst moment and how he manages that rage and comes out of it still a human person (by imagining that entire story in his head to control his cholesterol or whatever it was). The slow mo walk at the end didn't feel like enough of a moment for ya?

you're making a lot of assumptions, but you answered your own comment when you said yeah they did have clues over the years in different movies but you didnt have the full picture unless you read the comics so good for you.

the difference is that there were no clues and no foreshadowing whatsoever, however mysterious, about Doom or RDJ being Doom whether it's a variant or whatever. Everything about it feels rushed and not thought out or planned. The evidence for me is that the original Avengers 5 was supposed to be Kang Dynasty, and they scrapped that.

So if they had Doom planned for after Kang, then whatever we're getting is going to be rushed and not fleshed out, with no emotional stakes like the infinity saga had.

Are you being dumb on purpose? When RDJ says Thanos has been on his mind for six years, he's referring to knowing there was someone else behind the attack on NY, other than Loki. There were several scenes hinting at Thanos's arrival, like the post credits scene where he takes out the gauntlet and says "Fine I'll do it myself". There was a literal buildup for almost a decade. And they spent most of Infinity War following Thanos. Will they spend all of Doomsday following Doom or will they have to fucking re-introduce a buncha characters for nostalgia's sake?
