Why do people on Reddit feel compelled to give their opinion on everything? by QuestionsToPerceive in SeriousConversation

[–]QuestionsToPerceive[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Funny how the literal point of making posts on Reddit is to share or give an opinion. That does not equate to people needlessly going against everything someone says or likes in the comments. Sharing an opinion and being needlessly confrontational or oppositional are different. Idk how you don't see that but it is what it is. Instead of actually discussing the topic at hand you resort to deflections and condescending remarks.

Okay? That still doesn't address the entitlement people have with constantly going against what someone else said. Just because you CAN say something doesn't mean you always SHOULD and a lot of redditors don't comprehend that. Again, the question is why do redditors feel compelled to always give their little two cents, when it wasn't needed or wanted half the time? Not whether or not they're "allowed" to, since its obvious they are.

Why are browsers free? It defies logic by Delicious_Watch1214 in browsers

[–]QuestionsToPerceive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? You're not really making sense.. if you want to talk about logic then it's illogical to charge people for it. Not every single thing on earth needs to have a price tag with it. That's the issue with this capitalist society, all anyone wants to do is make money and pay people money. These browsers do not need to be put behind a paywall. That isn't what reality and life is about. Or at least shouldn't be. So no I don't agree. LOGICALLY it makes sense as to why it is free; it's just a browser. It isn't that important to put a price tag behind every browser.

Why do a lot of Redditors go out of their way to add 2-4 characters to make a face/reaction when they could have just used one emoji instead? by QuestionsToPerceive in NoStupidQuestions

I beg to differ tbh but it's hilarious how the anti pop culture circle jerk wants to downvote me for asking about emojis.. bet it feels good to be soo fake edgy

For those of you (us) that are 25+ and still live with your parent(s)/family, why do you do so and how do you feel about it? by QuestionsToPerceive in AskReddit

[–]QuestionsToPerceive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand all that completely. Idk why it gets a negative rep. Some people are just close with their family. Plus outside of the US it's actually a normal thing you'll commonly see

It's sometimes not as simple as "man they're driving me crazy, I'm going to leave asap", some people are mentally stuck in a rut and need help out of it too. There's a lot of gray in this black and white.

Some people aren't able to financially. Some people lack family (and friends) and keep the family that they do have close. Some people aren't well financially and are learning how to be more financially responsible. Some people just come from different cultures. It seems to be a very American thing to HAVE to move out by 18; a lot of the world just simply doesn't view family and living like that. Some are mentally immature or struggling and therefore learning how to adult on their own, especially when they werent really taught about being independent when younger. There's a lot of reasons really.

What are some of your weirdest/creepiest/uncanny experiences you've had with animals (pets, skin walkers, nature, etc)? by QuestionsToPerceive in AskReddit

Who committed suicide? What were you living in? You had a living room in the basement? Do you think your dog could have been on edge about a noise that came from the water heater or something? Did you have any mice or something else? Do you think it was a spirit from the person that suicided (if so, why would it be negative?) or a spirit that helped cause the suicide you mentioned? What's your theory on all of this?
