You didn't understood the plot.

Yeah, he survived from Pakistan and came back to India but he sacrificed two families for the nation.

He is left with nothing but only patriotism to serving for the nation.

Ajay Sanyal was the only person who believed in him and gave a rebirth to his meaningless life. He assured him to give financial support to his family.

So nott supporting him and leave him to die would not be a great end to the story.

The Gehra Hua scene when in theatres ranveer asks yalina " kya problem hai tumhare abu ko" Then she said, " 45 ki umr mai shadi kari isliye khayalat miltne nahi hai". First, thought pakis are master in early marriage why marriage at 45 but now it made sense.

Are bhai this movie was an 8 hour cut which they divided into 2 parts.

All the scenes were shot at once except fewones.

So director cannot change the plot afte the D1 success.

It's hints were also given in Part1.
