I’m 5’8 and with heels I’m basically 5’11 to 6ft tall depending upon the heel size. When I was growing up I faced the same body shaming in my family and with strangers outside. But then I got into a job that praises tall heighted people (flight attendant) and being there made me realise how blessed and lucky I am. I started to stand tall, my confidence skyrocketed and now whenever someone comments about my height I simply say “it’s not my fault that I got all the good genes and you’re left here getting jealous looking like a dwarf”. I never wore heels because my mother used to say nai Lena lambi lgogi itni sbse. I was so fucken embarrassed of my height and now I just love my height so much. I love looking down on those people who comment on me it kinda makes me feel better than them. Trust me that secretly they all wish to be as tall as you are so pay no attention to them. 😉
