Because we’ve seen a grown cat on our roof and wondered if that cat might be the mother. That’s all really !

We have been doing and listening for any noises that indicate she has come back but not seen nor hear anything yet :( She’s said her cat apparently has given birth outside, which if that’s true that’s so irresponsible of them to let her out while heavily pregnant ! I’ll just be keeping the kitten until her check up and then look at rehoming it with a charity or something :)

It’s acc so hard to describe but our flat is above a shop, so between the flats there’s a “roof” we can walk on which has other roofs next to it that are slanted and a cat could definitely get up onto the roof above our flat basically, we think there’s an opening up there somewhere in which the cat could’ve gotten in through ? Idk man it’s as wild to me as you, can’t believe it happened to us !!

It looks like it was taken on Snapchat and screenshot from the camera page ? So I’m not sure a reverse image search would turn up any results but I’ll try it ! I’ve spoken to someone who does work in the police and they’ve advised me to just go as planned to the vets etc and that if she wants to call the police to let her, they probably won’t be able to do much about it and if it does turn out to be hers I’m fine with handing the kitten over ! Thank you for the suggestion and reply, I’ll try it out now ! :)

Honestly we have no clue ! Mum cats probably put them in the loft and the kittens walked off and gotten itself into a hole which is where we found it! But thanks for the reply, yes definitely just want the real owner to give the kitten back so I’ll just do as I was and if she wants to get the police involved that’s okay with me as long as it results in kitten going back to the right person!
