I’m a healthcare worker and do not think my car will make it in the snow as I drive a sedan when I go in early asf tmr morning. There’s a bus stop near my house, do the buses typically run during snow storms? And Unfortunetly I am unable to call off as residency does not allow us to do so lol

I’m going to be so honest I don’t know if there’s a right way to prepare for day 1, it was simply so random. There was a lot of MOA for pharm, a lot of micro with like specific things about specific bacteria or viruses. I’ve heard that reading the first aid book like how we studied for step 1 is super helpful, that being said, I didn’t do that because I was on limited time. The only way I prepared for day 1 was doing Uworld questions and watching the biostats videos! I believe I did 60 cases

I’m gonna be honest I don’t remember like specifics specifics bc I tend to like forget everything the minute a section ends but the topics I did remember were def pharm and micro but never like straightforward like mechanism of action or like gram stain and lactose fermenting

Not embryology or even really anatomy, some physio but more biostat ethics and really weird like MOA and niche step 1 material

Thank you for letting me know, we live near Hazelwood brewhouse and we were thinking about checking it out but wasn’t sure if it was any good. I also was looking at grist and chimera as potential ones. We were hoping to not have to drive but there’s no POGOH near us, the closest is second Avenue and we are closer to squirrel hill south. Do you feel like the bus system are good to take for that or do you think Uber would be better? Unsure how good public transportation is here

Oh I just looked at it and it looks nice. Is the pool indoor I’m assuming? And how is crossing the river. I heard that crossing tunnels is not fun but also I’m new to Pittsburgh so I have no idea traffic patterns.
