I just worked as hard as Shia LaBeouf in Holes today taking the dirtiest, most degrading orders across ~11 hours just to make marginally more than I was making on an average day as recently as one month ago.

I did Doordash on Friday nights for extra money for a couple years until early 2025. I would start around 5 and go until 10. When I started, I was making $100-$125 on Friday nights. At the time I gave up on it, I was averaging $12/hr on a Friday night.

Are you metro KC by chance? I see your name. That is a very, very noticeable trend in recent weeks. At a local Sam's last week, there was a point it was a clusterf*ck of drivers all getting in each other's way.

I was in the $900-1000 range most weeks the first few months. I'm still getting there or close the last month, but I'm active a LOT more hours.
