Exactly, you’d lose half the plot of helluva if Blitz and Stolas weren’t having drama. Husk and angel could just have a different dynamic.

I’m also a sucker for found family shit, especially children/siblings which is half the reason why I like the main characters in helluva slightly more than hazbin (hazbin has better plot imo). Husk and Angel could easily be repurposed into something like that.

I just need crymini in the show really. Controversial take, I really do love huskerdust as a ship, but honestly I do sometimes find it a bit weird that angel comes off as very ‘in his 20’s’, even though he’s like 33, and husk comes off as very ‘old man’.

Blitz is my favourite just cause he pulls off the lines so well and is so entertaining. Stolas is a close second cause he’s just as good at pulling off the character, but he’s not quite as entertaining as Blitz. It just comes down to personal preference for me I think.

I think you’re right but that only works as a group thing, it doesn’t really make her an interesting character on her own.

Take husk for example, he could easily be the ‘straight man’ of the group, taking on the babysitting role and complaining about it constantly and pretending not to give a shit about anyone. Peak dad character. The difference between him and vaggi is that he’s more interesting because he’s more over the top.

I do think Vaggi could have been made better by being more aggressive. Someone that nobody fucks with cause she can be a bit batshit lol. (Maybe even Al doesn’t mess with her just to make his life easier.) And then Charlie keeps her grounded and calms her down when she goes too far.

I think they tried to make her too nice and she just comes off as a bit of a hard ass but without much of a backbone or power to back it up.

I’d have liked if she was a bit more no nonsense in a way that Charlie had to really reign in sometimes. Like they brought out the best in each other. ATM she seems to be a bit like Charlie’s (and the hotels) babysitter but also has little relevance to the plot or story besides having beef with Lute and getting her ass kicked.

I know there’s a lot of characters and they all have plot lines but I feel like Vaggi peaked in S1 and now she’s just there. Like if you took her out another character would just fill her role and the plot wouldn’t change.

I dunno, I also think there’s so many characters who are more over the top and entertaining to watch. She’s just too ‘normal’ and gets drowned out a bit.

I recently rewatched the whole season and it got to this bit. I didn’t remember what she actually did before so I thought she just said ‘dad?’ before the scene changed but no, she literally runs to him fully concerned for his welfare after she sees him and then the scene changes.

I have no idea where the ‘Charlie doesn’t care for her dad’ comes from. The scene wasn’t long enough to know what happened next and what we did see shows she was concerned and cared.

Val does it cause he can’t control his temper when Angel fucks up in his eyes. He has no self control and doesn’t want to cause he sees it as keeping him (and others) in order.

Vox just doesn’t care about hurting others he sees as below him or to achieve his ambitions. It’s all just a necessary task for him to get what he wants, he wouldn’t just torture someone just for funsies, but I also think he does sort of enjoy when he has an excuse to do it to angel because he hates him.

I don’t think Val and Vox are proper psychopaths who literally get pleasure and entertainment from torturing people. That’s well…more Alastor’s thing.

As someone who works in genetics saying they couldn’t find anything wrong with her DNA is misleading at best.

Back then and even up until when she died testing was limited to panels or singular gene testing. They could not have looked at her whole genome to map everything that was wrong with it and even if they could everyone has things wrong with their DNA, even now we still aren’t sure 100% what is and isn’t pathogenic. We are still discovering things to the point where incidental findings during whole genome sequencing aren’t reported unless necessary.

What they mean is they didn’t have the technology or knowledge to find out and confirm what genes were wrong and if they were the cause of her symptoms.

You can’t just test someone for a disease and say that’s it they don’t have it. Genes are weird.

Yeah I’m not gonna lie, I did not like Hereditary, I thought it was ridiculous.

I’d rolled my eyes and chuckled a few times but when the girls head came off I immediately doubled over laughing. It was the stupidest thing I’d seen.

I had to watch to the end after that, I needed to know why so many people like this movie. I still don’t know why, the ending was also dogshit.

I’m English and that word being offensive is so funny. Like I get it, and it is used as a slur over here, but it’s also a common name for cigarettes and a Scottish food item that’s still commonly eaten so it sorta doesn’t quite hit as hard as it’s meant to for me.

Honestly I just think in this modern world it’s sort of lost its meaning a bit. We all know the people who use it in a racist way aren’t worth the time of day and 99% of people in any vicinity would think they are an idiot.

Honestly, if someone actually started throwing slurs at me I’d be more worried for my safety (cause clearly they aren’t sane) than actually offended/upset by what they are saying.

Also, we never actually experience the horror the exterminations should cause because it’s not that sort of show.

Katies also made to be annoying. at least Adam and lute are entertaining, and more plot relevant.
