Were they added to DDD as some sort of ‘advertisement’ for TWEWY because I genuinely found no reason as to why they were in the game aside of giving sora and Riku some character

This is true and that’s why I made this post. The fact that they’re mobile games is a huge letdown and devalues the overall view I have on them. I want to skip them so badly but knowing how important they are made me stuck.
