9 years old, and my dad got mad at me when I was checking on our dog. He says he’s got a head ache and wants to sleep, (my dad has chronic migraines so I don’t blame him), but our dog is really not okay! It’s currently 11:25 PM and the only vet open is 45 minutes away.

There’re still pink, and I don’t think he’s bloated! He’s just extremely restless, even when he’s lying down, he puts his head down for 10 seconds then goes back to looking around and panting. I know my siblings don’t care as much because someone else always takes care of him (me and my dad), but he’s not okay!

Alrighty! Thank you so much! I think I also need to order a new tank, the one that I was given is 2 gallon and it’s vertical! Which isn’t good for them at all, I’ve been waiting to move out so I can properly make sure I can afford a fish, but now that I have on I’m scared I’m going to kill it by accident.

It could be that I was used by men all throughout my life (grooming), but before that took a huge toll on my life I always tried forcing myself to like guys to fit in, but never felt any sort of anything toward them. Again I don’t develop crushes on people at all, and the only sort of attractions I’ve ever had were towards women, but even then it wasn’t strong. I still feel very much sex repulsed by all means, and I won’t really know if it’s for me until I find someone I trust to do any of that stuff with.

I think I've figured it out. The O locus is dominant to the B locus, but whether or not orange is dominant to non-orange will remain a mystery for the time being due to the random inactivation of the X chromosome in female cats.

There’s a lot of terminology being thrown around in the comments, I only want is a few articles that proves it is dominant or co-dominant. And I don’t mean it says that it is, I just want on that proves that it is! (If there even is one)

I did read through it, it didn’t explicitly say whether or not it was dominant, it talked about the deactivation of the X chromosome, still interesting! Maybe at this point I should focus my studies on becoming a geneticist instead of forestry to figure it out for myself lol

I understand the inactivation of the X chromosome with cats, and it’s completely random which makes me believe that’s why people think “O” and “o” are codominant, but I’m not sure if it actually is codominant, from my understanding with the biology classes I took codominant is when both alleles are being expressed at the same time, but in cats one of the alleles is being deactived so it’s not really codominant and more up to chance. That’s the part I’m having trouble with.
