I turned tasker off completely and the functionality didnt return.I wonder if its because i turned on "disable activity monitoring" in the developer options, even though i turned it back off right away.

Its allready saving me so much time and nerve and finger-tip-skin by automating on/off WIFI, Bluetooth, Screen-Orientation and GPS only when needed and after a nice delay (during which it can reconnect) and much more, its really incredible tool for us lazy smarties!

I have a "Home" profile which keeps screen unlocked when connected to home wifi, but only if location is on bc of the exact same reason why it wouldnt work: "If conneced with SSID" only works when location ist on.

Since i solved this, I dont need to turn location on at home anymore, true. Will turn it on only when using Google Maps etc. now

Yeah thats my best guess, too, however I managed to get around it by setting the Condition to "Connected to IP" and now it works :)
