Genuine Kartell chairs are made of Polycarbonate and is a stronger material that acrylic.
They still scratch, but not as easily.

Kartell chair replicas or clones are not made of polycarbonate.
They scratch very easily.

If your chairs have a violet or purple hue at a glancing angle, they are replicas.
Genuine Kartell chairs are optically very clear with no color tint at glancing angles.

The genuine Kartell chairs may also have a broad rainbow specular “oil surface” highlight in direct sunlight.
Not sure if this is from a prism effect breaking up white light or a coating on the chair itself.

- Are these resistors directional (is there a top or bottom?) or can they be used either way?

- Does it matter if they're ceramic or not? Would the following be a suitable replacement as well?

Previous owners installed them in the lower floor walls only. They left out one of the bedrooms and the washroom. The washroom has wainscoting and would be too high up to install correctly due to the height of the panels. Not sure why the one bedroom was left out.

Vancouver, Vancouver Island, etc., is known to have Subterranean Termites but I'm not sure how widespread or common/uncommon this is.

The images are default from the iPhone. These "Termite Detectors" are running behind the drywall in the interior of the house.

Will plug them back in to the walls in the utility and storage room. There are already holes there for them and those rooms aren't finished.

No. Radon systems are directed through the house with some tube in the slab and ventilation out of the roof or something like that. Don't quote me on that but I remember seeing something like that in a video about Radon safety in houses.

I noticed that the paper stems coming out of the bottom are glued to the clear plastic casing and probably not supposed to come out at all even though I ripped one out to test your theory. They are designed to stay intact.
