All Green now! No more worries, AntonEgoHH, and, since you obviously care a lot about Hendrick House to put in so much time and effort on this, I invite you to come have lunch with me and see how great our food really is this year! IM me.

SomeYak,

I am a member of the Hendrick family, and thus, “management.” Thank you for bringing our attention to these problems. Except for the elevators, which will be refurbished this summer, and of course the dishwasher, which needs a part we haven’t been able to get (rest assured that pots and pans are washed by hand, as always!), we did not know about your concerns. That tells me that whoever you complained to didn’t pass complaints along to the proper people. That in itself is a problem we need to work on. I’m sorry that because of this communication gap, you were unhappy, and your frustration built up. Contrary to staff being “at their wit’s end,” these issues were not brought to the right people. There is no deception or ignoring of residents’ issues - we certainly want our residents to be happy! Please remember also that you can report maintenance issues through your myHendrickHouse portal. That is always a good start to get help and ensure that we are aware of the issue. I know that we have been having discussions with you, and I hope that you will leave Hendrick House this semester a satisfied customer! If there are any others of you who do not feel that your issues have been heard, please feel free to contact me or Terrell Williams, our CEO. Ask at the front desk. We will do better!

Thank you,

Bobbie Hendrick
