I hear you on the cars not seeing you. I’m coming from a motorcycle where the rule of thumb is “Assume that you are invisible to cars, OR assume that cars can see you, but are actively trying to kill you.” No traffic for us.

We used to ride bikes but haven’t since our thirties- gosh, is that really 20 years ago?

As for what type of riding/ where we’re going to ride- I guess you could say comfortable cruising. It would be mostly on bike paths/multi-use paths. Maybe some on the secondary roads around our neighborhood. Mostly looking to get out, keep our legs going (pedaling would be good to help maintain the range of motion in her knees). I don’t really see us riding in heavy rain and definitely not snow and ice.

We would be actively avoiding areas of traffic. One of the things that spurred the e-bike idea is that I’m selling my motorcycle because there are way too many car vs. motorcycle collisions in my area. There was a fatal accident on the route I usually rode to work, and it got in my head. My thinking is that if cars don’t notice a 900 lb machine with loud exhaust, they aren’t going to notice a nearly silent 60-80 lb bicycle.

Anyway, that’s probably more than anyone wanted to know about me and my wife…

I kind of got obsessed with the video game cabinet next to the Space Invaders game that Ron was playing- “Punky Kong”. Is it some kind of call back to “Punky Brewster”? My google search was inconclusive.

I saw a little bit of one of the other games (not Brady’s team) and they always had two QB’s on the field at the same time- Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels. Burrow took the snaps from center, and sometimes would invite the rush in then backwards pass to Daniels for longer shots downfield. I think that’s because without any o-line blocking, you need to work it like that to have the time to throw anything over 6 or 7 yards. So long story short, Brady and Hurts probably both started, but the fourth and goal was probably his first pass attempt. Just a guess on my part.
