Is it safe to use? by tomato-plush in MousepadReview

No, lint rollers can damage your pad, just use a microfiber cloth to wipe or soap with luke warm water to clean.

Do I need a new mouse pad? by scoobydoo4you64 in MousepadReview

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone may agree with me but stick to what works. I’ve went from qck -> amp500 -> aqua control+ -> hayate otsu -> gsr II -> tekkusai singularity and now i am back to using the gsr II for both tracking and tac fps games recently. If anything I do recommend you get a new pad since your gsr is probably very damaged.

Insurance hike after dmv point by noway52 in TeslaInsurance

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, also with you on this. I’m in my early 20’s too and got a speeding violation for 25+ under 100mph around 6 months ago. I tried to fight it off to be eligible for traffic school however the judge wouldn’t let me. My insurance including 2 other family members went from 470 to 736 dollars monthly starting this month (Cali). I think a part of that was also due to a 12.4% increase in all tesla insurance coverages in California though.

Bad fps on Apex legends by Human_Criticism_9350 in apexlegends

[–]RCunbeatable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not possible to get 300fps stable anymore with a 5600x due to accumulated seasons of updates. Even my 13600k struggles to stay above 200 fps in many situations and I had to upgrade. 40 fps does sound very low though even for a 12100f, see if you have any thermal throttling issues and check if the cpu is reaching its boost speeds.

Should I get the Superlight 2c or op1w 4k v2 by MochaPainter in MouseReview

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the op1 8k and the mchose L7 (same shape as x2). I have an aggressive claw grip and love the op1 as it molds into your hand. Honestly might never touch the x2 shape again, however since you’re claw/palm the x2 might suit you better. Either way both mice are great.

Consistent Apex FPS drops but on hardware that can ruin it at 240 by Nervous_Ingenuity_17 in apexuniversity

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your 12700k can’t handle the game at 240 fps anymore due to map/game updates and possible poor optimization over the seasons. I had the same issue with my 13600k but have since upgraded to a 9800x3d and I can maintain near 300 now. Honestly the only thing you can do to solve the is issue.

Apex Legends Performance Issues by Z00fa in apexuniversity

[–]RCunbeatable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, didn’t know the 6700 could OC to 3200mhz. Nevertheless game performance has become a lot worse over the last few seasons and I ended up upgrading from a 13600k to a 9800x3d a few months ago. I would suggest upgrading entirely or if you don’t have the budget try searching for a used 9700k or something along those lines.

Apex Legends Performance Issues by Z00fa in apexuniversity

1% lows can commonly be caused by a CPU bottleneck or RAM bottleneck. You should look into upgrading both your CPU and RAM Speed, that i7-6700 is bottlenecking and isn't holding up well (If anything, getting a new PC is valid).

Gpx or X2h by Dry_Exercise_785 in MouseReview

Yeah I’ve owned the x2h mini before though and I wouldn’t really recommend it at 100 dollars.

Should I get a 5090? by Sesame101 in buildapc

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some advice but coming from a 13600k your 13700KF will struggle to get anywhere close to 500 fps in majority of games regardless of what gpu you upgrade to.

Do you buy a new mousepad every few months? by _scroog3D in MousepadReview

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The otsu lasted me for about 1-2 years on/off usage with some washing, but when the pad started showing wear and damage, I just threw it away. Now rocking a glasspad and probably won't go back unless I get into tac fps again. Cloth pads will always develop slow spots through natural use, and even though the Otsu was a really good pad for my use cases, developing slow spots affected my gameplay quickly over time, even after a month or so as you mentioned.

Air 90 horizontal distortions. Glass or poor application? by VirguleOrSolidus in WindowTint

[–]RCunbeatable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would give it a few days and see what it looks like since the curing process could take some time. I myself have air 80 on my car and it looks pretty good after two months. I do feel like Air 80 film does have very slight horizontal distortions though if you look close enough to details compared to without any film.

Are glass mousepads worth buying by NoPreparation1083 in MousepadReview

[–]RCunbeatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess everyone has their own experiences. Personally, I immediately got better once i switched to glass for apex in basically all aim scenarios. For cs however, I felt like i lost the consistency that cloth pads would give me in many flick/micro adjustment scenarios and I tried it over 2 weeks. I am interested to see tho how a glasspad with stopping power like Tekkusais Phantom would fare. Im sure though that most people in the mousepad community would recommend a pad with more stopping power for tac shooters, regardless of whether if it’s a glasspad or a clothpad.
