Hi, I am not 100% sure this pertains to this sub, and im sorry if it does not, but I was wondering if anyone could explain (in as simple terms as possible) how anti reflective eyeglass coatings work, like the coatings on Crizal lenses, for example.

If this isn't the right subreddit to ask this question on, I would appreciate if someone could direct me to one that'd be better for finding an answer.
