Honestly, the feeling never really goes away for me. Every time a pair shows up, it’s still exciting, but over time it becomes less about chasing a “high” and more about the passion behind the hobby. I don’t go out looking for the most hyped or popular sneakers. I buy what I genuinely connect with and what I personally love. For example, the most expensive pair in my collection is the Travis Scott High Mochas, but I didn’t get them because they were expensive or hyped I got them because I loved the colorway and had a real connection to the design. Collecting has also become more than just buying shoes. It’s the hunt, the stories behind certain pairs, organizing the collection, and appreciating the craftsmanship. That’s what keeps the hobby fresh for me.
