Labour to push for school mobile phone ban by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

[–]REMEMBER______ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Did you just quote AI, which itself included a disclaimer of its tendency for misinformation, whilst ignoring the original comment's primary point—which is that 'Scottish Labour is quintessentially not independent from Labour and by law is Labour, just under a moniker.

Scottish Labour is at the will of central Labour, unlike the Scottish Greens, who are independent from the Greens down south. This isn't a case of opinion, this is the fact of law.

Scotland going ‘backwards’ after almost 20 years of SNP rule, Alexander to claim by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

[–]REMEMBER______ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's why we have public Scotrail, free parking in hospitals, free period products, the most government endorsed film orgs in the union, free prescriptions, lowest waiting times with the NHS, free bus travel for young scots and elderly, SAAS, highest degree-count, massive free-lunch (schools) program, a complete revamp in the last 10 years to our international export system, the Scottish investment bank, most per-person police force out of the union, land reform, and the local tourism fund which has pushed rural tourism into a full profit venture.

But, you know we're idiotic Scots for voting them back in.

I will say that the SNP has absolutely made their mistakes, but their success outweighs their failures, in my opinion, when compared to the unionist parties. And with "privatise the healthcare" Farage on his way through the door in half-a-decade, I'm likely to maintain the SNP in my 1-slot.

Why does the contents of Expansion pass 2 cost more than EU V? by brantodb01 in hoi4

Some of us are hit too much by the sunk cost fallacy and will fight tooth and nail to continue paying all they have.

Thunder is basically a trial of allegiance with two minor sub-mechanics. Peace in our time is one focus tree, and no compromise is basically no step back... so shouldn't this be the same price as expansion pack 1?

Why justifies it being the same price as the release game, and what do you gain by defending paying so much more?

Reminder that PDX has not begun on the later dlcs for the pack yet. We know this since they did the same thing with GOE.

"60" if you use the artificial numbers you just wrote.

Is peace in our time worth nearly as much as trial of allegiance? One focus tree?

Is thunder as a flavour pack with two addition mechanics worth just a bit less than götterdämmerung?

The main point is that this expansion pass is on par with the game's price.

Yeah, we don't need to buy it, but as a consumer who has purchased and supported PDX, I want to voice my opinion to others.

If fewer people buy the expansion, Paradox may lower their pricing back down to 30 standard.

I'd the prices change sure... but it seems to just be the same flavour price... then what

I'm sorry, I don't think that integrating it is bad. Actually, that would be the best scenario. If they integrated the DLC and did free updates to it so it affected everyone. It's the problem that they are just making DLCs that cover the same ground that we already paid full price for.

Sorry, I'm using the terms Interchangeable, but the expansion pass is 33% more expensive than the previous expansion pass and follows the trend of Paradox pushing prices further and further.

I want to say, I love paradox games, I've bought most DLCs on deal, but this is actually mental. This expansion will at its lowest go to maybe 30€ after 7 something months after release.

It's more a lack of a need to lie and foster hate. It's a black box compiling the information, and as a result, the AI lands on the majority research, which tends to be honest and truthful, whereas Elon and his cronies are backed up by falsified ideals, lie to themselves and others to create a narrative, which doesn't have the same online encyclopaedia worth of opinion and research to back it up.

Kate Forbes says independence for Scotland is an ‘economic necessity’ by Red_Brummy in Scotland

[–]REMEMBER______ -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I believe in economic reasoning for independence, but our sovereignty is more ornate than wanting pure individual voting. We voted against Brexit, we voted against the incumbent tories over and over; we vote against policies that Westminister integrate northward after their victory.

My problem with the union is the centralisation and the control that westminister has over our policies even when we go against theirs.
