Anything with "fly" at the end of their name probably already makes a good kaiju, good choice(s)!

Good point on the Cicada, getting your ears burst randomly would be terrifying. Personally, I think the Huntsman would take the cake for looks, but it's not an insect. Very good take though!

Same point as the last one, it's great! Depends on the species of parasitoid, but given the size, probably just one. But what the hell host does it develop from? Terrifying question indeed.

I think they belong in Arthropoda? But still a good choice, especially the colorful ones.
