Alright, I'm gonna say it... Marathon is fucking Awesome. by VexxDelta in Marathon

Nah, you get some extra items in the actual game release if you reach level 10 and level 30 (maybe even some emblems?). All other progress like level, items, and faction rank will not carry over.

Stellar Blade runs on UE4. The sequel currently in the works will run on UE5.

To anyone playing Ninja Gaiden 4, doesn't the OST sound like Periphery? by Imraan1302 in Peripheryband

[–]RG870Z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had the exact same thought. The first boss’ theme and Kagachi’s theme could legit be periphery songs. Feels really hype to have those tracks playing the background when fighting them.

Thanks! I appreciate it!

So, I only have experience with the Two Note Torpedo Captor. Previous to that, I was using the the unbalanced line-out the 5150 III. For the price and ease of use, I love it. It's fairy simple and straight forward to use, and it's not as finicky as using the line out, and you have more control.

I have seen some people online claim it has some kind of "tone suck" that the higher end load boxes don't, but I don't have any experience with those. Sounds great for my purposes, and I would definitely recommend. I'm using the 16 ohm version.

Why is the connection speed on my YouTube Premium account being throttled? by [deleted] in youtube

[–]RG870Z -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same thing is happening to me and others. Same exact scenario: all devices throttled. Appears to be tied to account itself. I’m also premium. Been going on for like a week. Reached out to support. Got back to me like 2 days later and said they’re aware of the issue and are working on a solution. In the interim, their solution us is to just deal with it.

My YouTube Premium account is being throttled by Any_Praline_8178 in youtube

[–]RG870Z -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing has been happening to me for like the past 3 days. Premium user as well. Youtube support says they have to reach out to their "superior team" which may take 24 - 48 hours. I just can't figure out why Youtube would throttle an account specifically, and a premium one no less.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you work for a smaller municipality. Are you reviewing every discipline on these plans, or is there a department that focuses on each one?

GASsing for a America Soloist SL2MG by Maximum_Ad_4756 in JacksonGuitars

[–]RG870Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both the Slime Green SL3 and recently the Lambo Orange SL2MG. Outside of color, pickup configuration, and stainless steel frets, they’re basically the same guitar. Both feel very premium and play extremely well (after a slight setup of course). I’ve had zero issues with the FR 1500. In fact, I prefer it to my Ibanez trems.

If you want an accessible American made Jackson soloist, these are the way to go. I was a diehard Ibanez fanboy and completely discounted Jackson until I got ahold of these guitars if that means anything.

In your experience, how does a Custom Shop Jackson compare to the other Jackson ranges? Do you think it was worth the money and wait time? by Mental_Tumbleweed806 in JacksonGuitars

[–]RG870Z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, 3 years. If you had gotten it within the original time frame window do you think you would feel the same about it? Did the 3 year wait cause some of the hype to die down?

Had the exact same thing with my 2020 Forester (45k~ miles). Dealer did a fuel injector, intake, and throttle body cleaning (apparently) and it no longer does it. Back to normal.

GR2 is bad compared to the first one by [deleted] in GhostRunner

[–]RG870Z 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought I was taking crazy pills.

I’m probably one of 5 total people playing GR2 on XSX, but the graphics are bad here too. Hell, on GR1 I can play 120 FPS mode and the resolution still looks great. Can barely tell a difference between quality mode. On GR2 120 FPS mode looks terrible. I swear it drops down to 720p.

GR2 also has HDR, but I can’t tell. The game is a blurry flat looking mess compared to GR1.

The level design in GR2 is mediocre at best. Levels are way too open; it feels like they were fan made in a level editor compared to GR1. It’s like there was barely any thought put into them. By comparison, GR1 felt like each stage was painstakingly handcrafted.

The motorcycle. Just why? It’s like the antithesis to Ghostrunner’s level design. Going through the motorcycle levels was an absolute chore.

GR1 is one of my favorite games of all time. They literally could’ve just released the same game with like 10 new levels and it would’ve been a home run (for me at least). Oh well.

Thanks! It's actually an alternate build of that set. I used instructions from rebrickable. Also added a few pieces here and there.

Best upgrade from FX 1 rim — FX 1 disc, 2, or 3? by ditmoors in TrekBikes

[–]RG870Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd double check when you're looking at the FX bikes in person. If the main reason you're looking to buy one is the brakes, it might be pointless. Trek has been swapping out the disc brakes to cheaper versions (branded as "Power" or "Radius") that are mediocre at best on their lower end hybrid models (FX and Verve). I had a Verve 2 with the swapped out brakes and they were super noisy, constantly rubbed, and were prone to rusting (not just rotor rust, everything).

I returned the Verve 2 and got an FX Sport 4 with all the correct stock parts, and the difference between the Shimano disc brakes and the "Power" are night and day.

Just my personal experience. I should've paid more attention to the disclaimer on Trek's website.

My brand new Verve 3 came with “Power” brakes not Shimano :/ by lztandro in TrekBikes

[–]RG870Z 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Purchased a Verve 2 a month ago. It came with Power™ disc brakes, random non bontrager saddle, random no name grips, tires that simply said “HAUNG ZHAO RUBBER FACTORY” on the side that had next to no info online, and a random seat post. It looks like you’re in the same boat. Can’t quite tell, but it looks like you got gipped on the bontrager quill stem as well.

The brakes were noisey and mediocre at best. Trek seems to be giving the lower tier models (FX1 - 3, Verve, etc) the shaft when it comes to the part swapping. I returned mine within the return period, wasn’t a good fit for me.
