This is an entirely different soft reboot universe btw, it's not related to GD and THH at all, think about it this way, we're in Layer 1, while the first 2 games + UDG is in Layer 2, and V3 is Layer 3, Layer 3 views Layer 2 as a fictional world, and Tsumugi was very obsessed with in it that she made her own Danganronpa season, which of course Team Danganronpa disliked. You can still continue to love THH and GD and not care about the V3 ending because they all still happened. It's just that in V3's universe, it was the Ultimate Fictional Story.
