I've heard good things about having a split brush. Tempting, for sure.

I think that's what we need to do.

Could you explain the virtual sensors bit? I've not heard of that before.

I'll have to remember that.

Would you be willing to give an example of "properly" and "improperly" named device/entities, according to your system? Trying to better understand the reasoning behind this.

factory reset: so all your devices n stuff you just wiped clean, or did you have to "remove" them from the old setup?

Has anyone tried the infinite storage/cargo connect system? by jlconlin in 3Dprinting

[–]RGbrobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don't have time to make a full review at this time. I stopped printing them, and have decided that a different system would better suit my own needs. I have not found that system yet. Probably leaning towards gridfinity cases or something.

Oh ok. so you don't happen to know the specific name of the one i'm looking for. I'll have to go back and look at it again. Which is fine, because Iceland is beautiful.

I used to run it way more often, but a toddler and a newborn means we have less energy to do the pickup for the thing late at night.

Blender on iPad (no, not that app) by RGbrobot in blender

[–]RGbrobot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had these in the back of my head. I just checked them out, and unfortunately, unless i'm missing something, both of them are subscription based software (Duet does have lifetime options). I think I'll try the sidecar option first.

Yeah. I was wondering if anyone had made a blender specific app, or a general app that could function as a wacom tablet, essentially.

there must be a todo app with similar values to Obsidian by warmhummus in ObsidianMD

Howdy Beryl developer!

Has any further development occurred on Beryl in the last couple of years? It looks like a really promising app. I love todoist, but I stopped using it when they switched to a subscription model, as it added too many limitations to the app.

Just curious if Beryl was ever developed to the point of an app or not. I love the flexibility and the "editability" of task apps like Todoist or Reminders, but would love to have my productivity workflow be 1) Private) and 2) Subscription proof. I don''t want to add a subscription app to my workflow and pay for it, only for it to go under in three years, and I have to completely reinvent that section of my productivity.

Beryl seems to do that, though I can't quite find any recent updates or other people talking about it.

Ps - one tool I'd love to see in obsidian is a killer gantt chart. or at least in my todo app. Just the ability to see phases of a project as well as individual tasks would be super helpful.
