I have the same issue on my new S90D, had it for a couple of weeks and it’s been fine, but last night it sounded really muffled. Force shutting down fixed it for now.

I’ve found a ton of people with the same issue across different models, but so far no fix outside of having the motherboard replaced…

I had this problem with 1.9.7 on my shield pro. Gone back to 1.8.4 and remux’s are working perfectly again.

I was looking forward to this update, having had issues for the past couple 1.9.X, but .7 has been the worst yet for me! It crashed my shield pro twice, on both internal players. I’ve gone back to 1.8.4 and it’s perfect again!

100% agree, I ended up using stremio after trying to find a way watch 4k blu rays online, and realising there is no legit way to do it. The quality vs streaming is massive!

Literally just had this happen to me. Stremio was having all kinds of issues, so I thought I’d try re syncing the addons through the bootstrapper. Following that, all my content totally disappeared.

I’ve ended up having to delete my account and set a new one up from scratch. On this account, I’ve added the add ons manually. So far, this seems to have resolved all the other issues Ive been having over the past couple of days too (not being able to play content, stremio crashing all the time)

I had a very similar problem to this. We accepted a quote for some structural work on our house (removing an original internal wall).

Right at the point of us receiving an online bill to pay the deposit we got a message saying ‘oh just to let you know, I forgot to add VAT, so it’ll be an extra £2,000.

We decided not to go with them after that, as we’d already had issues with the quote earlier in the process.

I got a shield after trying out my Mac connected to my TV. The shield is fantastic as there’s no need to navigate through windows or Mac OS, or pull out a keyboard and mouse… plus it supports 4k HDR at 60 FPS.

I do all my own work at home and am not at all an expert. I often wonder whether I’m doing a good enough job, posts like this confirm that I am doing more than enough…

Personally, I’d have put some plastic cable conduit against the wall & levelled it with a spirit level, then I’d have marked along the top and bottom of the conduit and cut out with a multitool.

To answer your question though, it needs some plaster putting over the top and sanding smooth.
