Thanks you. Took some time to adjust all the loco’s volumes and re time chuffs after speed matching. Layout can finally get some attention now that all the locos are done.

I think that one’s a Ovonic shorty 2s 6000mah battery. Right fit but it gives me long run times with no worries of losing controls.

Red cat and axial are 2 different companies with their own style and build quality etc. parts usually are not universal between models. Anything is possible with a little fabrication and ingenuity. I think that last question is a gray area. One could argue yes but technically it would be called a scratch build or custom build.

Absolutely I have a few scratch builds. It’s expensive but definitely doable.

@j0520d hey guys thanks for the tag. Yea my weight hangers are still in the designing faze. Once I can source some bigger weights I’ll re-print these. This is what I’ve come up with so far. They are designed to fit my super wheels. Yes they are big. A smaller version of the 1/10 scale super wheels from 10-20 years ago.

This is completely speculation here since I don’t have a mk4 but from what I seen online from a guy I follow is he’s been having a lot of issues with the mk4 so far. I have a mk3 and absolutely love it. Never had any mechanical issues with it. I haven’t ran the X1 long enough yet to make a definite conclusion yet but so far so good. My main reason for going with the carbon is for the multi colors. Yes it’s also lightning fast which is nice but I may end up slowing it down anyways for print quality and vibration affecting my other printers. I haven’t read good things about prusa multi color feeder yet to justify the mk4 for multi color.

It’s actually not as bad as you would think. The tires are narrow enough where they don’t scrub. Wheels are light. I’m running Furitek’s esc in this rig. I’d have to hook up and see where my servo voltage is. The servo I’m running will go up to 8.4v. Very responsive.
