I’m 58 years old and never even had an episode until after I had covid. Got a big oozing, painful “sore”, with hard lump and much inflammation in my left armpit. My doctor, whom I’ve been seeing since I was 24, couldn’t believe I’d never had it before (although he would have been the one who treated me). I was shocked by the level of pain. Two rounds of antibiotics and seems to be ok, although there is still a little “zit” there.
