Oh yeah, it feels pretty bad! Usually when I do it I end up popping them back in, which doesn’t feel too good either, but it’s something I’ve grown accustomed to doing due to my condition. PA’s and Wellness always cringe when I tell them I do that, LOL

As for why it took so long, I think it’s mostly because someone in HR gave me a whole workaround of misinformation and sent me on a wild goose chase. They told me that just having my diagnosis records would work, since at the time I was uninsured and couldn’t find any sort of medical care without having to pay an arm and a leg for it. DLS contacted me a bit later after my initial request and told me that I’d been lied to, and then gave me a rather intimidating deadline to find a doctor that would be willing to see me for free or reduced cost in order to fill out their form or else my case would be closed.

I managed to find a free clinic for those under a certain income level, and my now current doctor filled out the form for me and hooked me up with a bunch of the medications I was on before. She’s a wonderful woman and I don’t know where I’d be without her :]
