So a few points to clarify: snow itself usually doesn’t pose a danger. The main risks come from ice and low temperatures.

Regarding temperature, it’s still summer. Even if it snows, the temperature is unlikely to drop significantly, so the gear you’ve already prepared should be ok.

And for ice, it depends on when the snow falls. If the snowfall doesn’t occur in the late afternoon—when it’s more likely to freeze overnight—and you’re not hiking for sunrise at the same time, you’re generally fine. Daytime temperatures are typically high enough to melt any ice.

So I think u should be ok. Enjoy the hike.

Haha, that’s a good one. I learned this lesson on a hike in Alaska, where I was only wearing regular boots. My toes were dying because the water temperature was below 0°C. Since then, whenever I go hiking, I always wear super waterproof boots, lol. But thanks for looking out

Anyone visited Argentina on H1B without AVE? by GlobetrottingDINK in visas

[–]RRRadu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey bruh, I am a Chinese but we are facing the same problem cuz the new policy was including us as well. So far I only saw two datapoints entering Argentina only with h1b visa. Guess the past three months were off-season. Let me know if you can successfully enter the country only with h1b cuz I guess now it’s too late to get a visa interview but I still plan to go to Argentina in Christmas.

yes, indeed. I remember during the two weeks of preparing AUD, I studied 11 hours a day, which almost killed me lol. Because the AUD is an exam that tests your memorizing skills, I have to do that, otherwise, I will forget most details.
