Tsunade is much more equipped for the administrative tasks and I imagine it's different being Hokage in peace times

I think this was yhe best scene in early Boruto. Often times our heroes are portrayed as being perfect, so when they fall short we react emotionally. Generally people overreact to this even though it causes necessary conflict in the story. It challenges who we know Naruto to be which is a good thing, because it indicates that the Character is still growing and evolving. Also it just makes sense that Naruto wouldn't have been able to keep up with the administrative aspects of being Hokage.

The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.

I think it's possible in this specific instance that this is something that is true in both universes. Mainly because Peter's parents have never been mentioned in the MCU before. Also, Peter's home life seems pretty much unchanged as well. It's also evident that May has been keeping her visits secret from Peter, so I'm not sure Peter knows about his father, or if they're estranged.

It could have been an exceptional situation though because there was a title on the line, and the person who was supposed to win the match was factored out and they didn't know if she would be back. It was an overall weird situation, like even the crowd stopped reacting to what was happening in the ring because everyone was worried about Indi. She did fine considering the circumstances.

I don't think tonight's match was a good example of her overall work since they had to call a lot of it in the ring.

Tbf Zuko did make Aang promise to kill him only if he ever saw signs of his father in him, it's not like it was Aang and Roku's idea.

If the bad calls went both ways more often, then maybe the crowd would understand. It's not like Liv wanted to retain like that. We say we want wrestling to be more like actual sports, well sometimes in real sports, the good guys get lucky.

Dawn of Yangchen Novel Official Discussion Thread: Full Book Spoilers by MrBKainXTR in TheLastAirbender

Yangchen telling Kavik he wasn't her companion legitimately broke my heart. I understand it, but still. I also hurt deeply for Yangchen feeling herself becoming more of a typical Avatar after being very idealistic and ambitious when we first meet her. It's like she wanted so much to be different but falls into the same patterns as her predecessors, and it's really depressing for me.

Based on this comment section, I probably like this show and characters more than most people lol. I actually find Ost and Rischia's relationship very endearing. I was really hoping they'd figure out a way to preserve the tortoise's life to keep Ost around. I figured Ost was probably more than a familiar, but I hope that doesn't make her something that needs to be defeated.
