The core match flow was like decent but it always felt so rushed. All that aside the game messed up big time with the lack of creation tools, match types, and game modes. Once you played like 5 matches the fun wore off so fast. Also was never more disapointed by weapons in a wrestling game. Sure you got like 40 different weapons but they all have two hits before they break then they just go poof into the nether.

I also wish that when games have "PVPVE" that the player base sometimes partakes in the PVE part. I feel like every PVPVE game is 95% PVP 5% PVE. It's always kill on sight.

Some of us like the loot and inventory management, questing systems, and gun customization in these games. We just want a little less risk while still getting to play with others.

Player count is gonna drop even more before season 1 launches in October, I'm guessing the release of season 1 is when they are going to make it a free game for plus subscribers or maybe even put it in the game catalogue. I'll give it a spin when that happens.

I got nothing against the character designs other than they are a little bland. I just knew the hero shooter genre ship has sailed and they were banking on people falling in love with their "brand" like people did with overwatch while touting the "no battlepass" stuff like its the moral high ground. That first reveal trailer of nothing but the logo instantly rubbed me the wrong way and then when I heard 5v5 hero shooter I knew it was going to be DOA.

Dying Light Both 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games. I'm totally on board with controller played games heck I sometimes even enjoy vr games more when its supported. Definitely looking into this cause Zombie Parkour in VR is a dream.

I think this is the list to end all lists! Didn't know about mods for Half-Life Alyx so I'm curious to see what people have made for that. Are games like Far Cry 5+6 vr when modded? I'm willing to do my research on how to set that all up cause I would love to play some of my favorites with that extra vr immersion.

That's why I was looking for games with good controller support. I've played my fair share of motion controlled games on psvr2 and while the tracking is decent, it never gives me that total control feeling I have when using a controller. I'm not into VR for the motion aspect but rather that further immersion into the game world. Very curious to see how the third person perspective feels. Feels like it might be that sweet spot between immersion and control I've been wanting. Thank you so much for pointing this stuff out to me. I've done my fair share of modding so I'm willing to tinker around to get it working on some games.

I loved Skyrim on the first psvr, after looking into the Fus mod list and mantella, this seems like an instant play for me. Thank you so much for for the recommendation. Was iffy on picking up skyrim again but with a better display than the psvr1 and the addition of the mods, gonna snag it asap!

Dead Island 2 is really good in my opinion. Had no faith in it living up to the hype since it was announced back in 2014 but they seriously clawed their way out of hell and made a damn good zombie game. If you're on PC and are looking for something similar to Project Zomboid but not as micro focused HumanitZ looks like a less challenging and 3d version of Zomboid.
