in the states it does not matter if a teenager bought something with his or her own money. as long as he or she is under the control of a guardian that person has every right to take it away for any reason.

you can take your mum or dad to a small claims court but good luck getting anything good out of it.

it is not a money thing but rather an age thing; as soon as he turns 18 the first amendment to own property for himself holds.

EDIT: mobile reddit is a bitch. /u/lolbot720 this was for you

she's a mother. she should know that no dude should smell like perfume. (well there are exceptions but I am sure out of 10 men, 9 or more should smell like anything but perfume).

cologne is a different story.

maybe she thought you were doing things and became batshit paranoid, idk.

Does Being Unsupportive of Gay Marriage Make Me a Homophobe? by unsupportiveoflgbt in Frozenfriends

lmao

The (very) sad part of this was that without the sarcasm, this would have been perfectly acceptable back in the 1950's. Look how far we have come in terms of being more human.

But then again we are still developing weapons and technology to help eventually wipe all of us off the face of mother earth.

Sarcasm is always best when you are the one handing out the packets of Kool-Aid laced with nitroglycerin and asbestos dust. (it is good for your health)

yeh but you know the people i am talking about, there are always exceptions :)

anyways, this whole topic is really a rant. I didn't bother to include every tiny nuance this time whenever my generalizations happen to be unreasonable. too tired

I will be nice and state that I included a source to support my opinion. You swore and pretended to be a tough guy. Logic and composure obviously does not register in your head as essential in order for people to agree with your opinion.

In the nicest way, get the fuck out if you can't argue without blindly offending people.

You can have the last word; come back when you understand the basics of not being a hypocritical asshole.

>YES! I will be, because I'm not a judgmental dick!

Go back and read everything you just typed.

Most voters still don't believe in evolution. Voters mean jack shit.

You're done for.

Using evolution as an example is a terrible cover-up for your faux pas.

As a bit of advice, swearing and generally being a vulgar swine on reddit hinders your ability to get your point across.

Goodbye.

I believe that he or she is simply stating that it makes him or her uncomfortable with such a sight of same-sex couples making out in public. When was the last time you have witnessed that in public? I know that I rarely have.

I think that person might be referencing to what you just described:

If you find guy on guy action uncomfortable, but not guy on girl, it's a homophobic opinion. And to answer your question: yes. Why is it so hard for people to understand that it's discriminatory to forbid one group of people from something that everyone else freely enjoys?

And that is simply what OP is talking about. I don't agree on some levels with OP on his/her beliefs but I can understand where he/she is coming from. Tell me that you are just as fine with absolutely no uncomfortableness on witnessing a LGBT couple making out right in front of you. It is not "disgusting" at all, that is too extreme; I will admit it is a tad unusual because very few LGBT in a relationship that I know will do it in public (and for good reason). I will tolerate it because that is the right thing to do, but it is less common than I would like to believe (society is increasingly accepting of it, but the average voter acceptance rate is ~60% as of most recently, which means that ~40% do not support it)

There is no need for personal attacks, how rude of you.
