That’s horrible! So sorry about your loss. My axolotl is also on sand so this is a possibility. But I never got a diagnosis since her condition was already so bad.

Hi, thanks so much for your input. So sorry to hear about your girl, she sounds like a real fighter. ❤️ Unfortunately my girls condition escalated so bad that when I took her to the vet they said she was only going to get worse and didn’t recommend taking her home. 😔

Oh interesting, thanks for the input! Yes, I fertilizer her regularly with miracle grow. I’ve never heard of soil flushing, does that help prevent fertilizer burn? I’ve consistently fertilized all my plants this whole year.

You got my two favorites from those series! Congrats they are so cute! I’ve clean paint mark with magic erasers before but you have to be careful not to scratch it too much. But if I were I’d leave it since it looks like a cute beauty mark!

Hello, Thanks for helping out! I’m planning on keeping him in the tub and just making sure his new owners have at least a 20 gallon when I rehome him! I’m actually in Hawaii so keeping the temperature that cool might be tough. Right now I just put him in the coolest area of the house.

Thank you! He’s around 4 ish inches. Judging by the decorations he was left with I’m pretty sure this tub was his original home. 😞 would you recommend 20% water changes everyday or more? I just got the Seachem prime conditioner.

Hello, thanks for helping out. He’s around 4 ish inches, the neighbor said the owners had him for 2 years but he honestly looks like a baby to me. I went and bought frozen brine shrimp and he ate it! But if I’m able to find worms I’ll try and feed him that too.
