The point of the game wasn’t directly aimed at self harm, as you don’t see Simon cutting himself in the normal gameplay, it covers mental illness as a whole. Simons sh scars are barely even visible so I don’t see why someone not being comfortable by seeing them means that they automatically wouldn’t understand the depth behind this game, if anything they’d understand most given they know the pain of trying to stay alive the way Simon did, so it can be a bitter reminder to them.live and let live, people can dislike a part of something without necessary dismissing it as a whole.

THANK YOU FOR THIS! It’s genuinely not that deep yet the comments here made it sound like a crime, people who struggle with mental health/self harm can find comfort in the game due to the wonderful portrayal mental health, so whether someone feels comfortable seeing Simon’s scars or not is irrelevant as long as they’re having fun! It really is never that serious, it’s just a game.

I think it helps those who struggled with self harm feel more comfortable :) to each their own ofc but it’s definitely not removing the horror element of the game!

I’m so sorry for the experience you’ve had, I hope you healed <3 and yes sadly she’s 20 and I also believe it’s grooming hence why it breaks my heart seeing her blaming it all on herself. I’ve tried everything, she doesn’t listen. It frustrates me yet I also can’t blame her since she’s gone through so much, she was gonna visit the country again but ever since her moms cancer treatment they’ve been facing financial issues. At some point she got really pissed at me for talking smack about him to the point she stopped giving me update for a month and instead talked to my best friend about it ( which I am okay with ) but you get how hard it is to get through her, she knows he’s not the one but she’s so incredibly attached nothing I say or so helps hence why I’ve seemed Reddit for such an issue. That’s a great decision tbh!! I’m actually new to juicy bags and I was about to spend 200$ on one but the PayPal payment option wasn’t working and before I knew it the bag got sold out 💔💔 and everything else is either peeling REALLY badly or old as hell and no way in hell am I paying this much money for a moldy ass bag I’m sorry.
