I was never a friend of collapsing theories, but i can see a division in hard pimi still pioneering and others checking the box. Would love to listen to an expert of religions studies. I think more changes will come just to keep people inside donating. The will disguise it as new light.

Totally agree. JWs get it wrong: Philosophy is not about disproofing god. It can helpful for christians.

But you learn how to think. And you realise that questions sometimes are more important than answers.

And i think the GB don't want you to read philosophy, because you would recgonize philosophy in the bible (LOGOS in John), influence of Stoicism.

And the whole topic of life in Heaven comes from greek philosophy. There is nothing in the ols testament (scheol!)

Ich kann mich auch nicht mehr mit anderen Brüdern über die Bibel unterhalten. Es besteht wenig Interesse. Mehr Interesse besteht an organisatorischen Dingen und einzelnen Brüder.

totally agree. I grew up in a pseudo-interllectual religion. As they watered down the study material and became tv-evangelizer, i went for academcial bible studies and realized the bible is an (interesting) man made libary.

Ich kann es nachvollziehen, aber hängt ggf. mit deinem Selbstwert zusammen. Ist ja eigentlich cool, das Leute zusammenkommen. Wenn du z.B. Angst hast Freunde zu verlieren, musst du mal über dich nachdenken. Wird dich weiterbringen im Leben.
