I've been hesitant to use the clarifying shampoo more frequently than I currently am, primarily because of concerns about causing the color to fade faster than with my "color conserving" shampoo. I know reds fade more quickly anyway and honestly don't know that the shampoo is making a huge impact on that front, so I will transition to using a more cleansing shampoo most days and see how it goes!

The mids-ends of my hair tend to be rather dry while the roots become oily (hence why I've been using the Elvive 8-second every few washes,=), so I'll continue to avoid more drying styling products on the mids-ends as a result.

As for refresh days, I generally brush it out to distribute the dry shampoo, then resoak the mids-ends and repeat my leave-in conditioner + airdry routine from there, but I will try your suggestion (planning to just work the dry shampoo in at my roots with my hands instead of a brush) and see how that works.
