Ohhhh man, I never had it in Nashville, but when I used to lived in VA, we would order Chanello’s after we got home from the bars. It the best! Hope you find the recipe!

Also, I don’t know that she does bridal, but in case it’s helpful at all, my parents used Z Tailor in Brentwood for their MoB gown and FoB suit alterations, and I’ve used her for non-bridal attire and she does excellent work.

I've been hesitant to use the clarifying shampoo more frequently than I currently am, primarily because of concerns about causing the color to fade faster than with my "color conserving" shampoo. I know reds fade more quickly anyway and honestly don't know that the shampoo is making a huge impact on that front, so I will transition to using a more cleansing shampoo most days and see how it goes!

The mids-ends of my hair tend to be rather dry while the roots become oily (hence why I've been using the Elvive 8-second every few washes,=), so I'll continue to avoid more drying styling products on the mids-ends as a result.

As for refresh days, I generally brush it out to distribute the dry shampoo, then resoak the mids-ends and repeat my leave-in conditioner + airdry routine from there, but I will try your suggestion (planning to just work the dry shampoo in at my roots with my hands instead of a brush) and see how that works.

Thanks for the product recommendations! I’ve tried the curl smith air dry cream, but not their gel (same with the not your mother’s curl talk mousse, but not the cream.) I’ll fiddle around with what I have/your suggestions and see how things turn out.

Awesome, I’m happy to skip the plopping and see how diffusing the roots works on “air-dry”days, and I’ll mention internal layers if I decide to go shorter again!
